Hi, I need to upgrade my gaming rig in order to get better frame rates in the racing simulation programs I use (GTR, GTR2, GTL, etc.) My current monitor is an Asus 1680x1050. I plan to use an Intel E8400 cpu and Radeon 4870 graphics card. What is currently the best chipset for this cpu? Any advice on what memory to get? Thanks!

If you are buying New CPU, Motherboard, Ram, GPU have you concidered a Core i7 set-up?
For as little as $559.99 you can get set up with an i7.

The Core i7's are simply the best CPU's out there. The chart above demonstrates some of the advantages over the E8400.
