Okay. I am looking at building a strictly gaming system that will be running at 1680 x 1050. The highest i will allow my budget to go is 1500. Im still not dead-set on which platform (Intel/AMD) that I want to build off of so I am very open to suggestions on everything. I also want to do some CPU water cooling, but am not sure what case would be good for the Swiftech H2O-220 system I have picked out. Here are my list of parts I have picked out so far:

Case - Undecided

Motherboard - Undecided

CPU - Intel E8500 (heavy OC!)

Graphics Card - 2 Saphire HD4850 Crossfire

Memory - G.Skill 2 x 2GB 1066 5-5-5-15

Hard Drive - WD Caviar 640GB SE16 WD6400AAKS
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218

Optical Drive - LG 22X DVD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136152

PSU - Antec NeoPower 650 Modular

Sound Card - Asus Xonar DX 7.1

I'll be running Vista 64 most likely

Thanks for all your help and let me know if there is something I missed.

Good cases would be: antec 900/ antec 1200/ or the coolermaster 830.
i recomend you get two 4870's instead of the 4850.
intel processors are the way to go, you picked out a fine one.
you may need to get a little bit bigger psu as well. something more like 750-850 watts.

Thanks for all the help guys, and I'm sorry I didnt reply sooner(stupid comtrash). I like the 900/1200 but I would definitely have to say that I like the cooler master 932 the most due to its great features! I would like to keep the modular theme if possibe because i have a cooler master 850 that i do not particularly like because of all the excess cords. If you have any recommendations on that i would surely appreciate it!

Ive read it before but newegg must have mistakenly labeled the PSU as having 4 x 6 pin pci-e because the review only states it has 3

thats a vary good psu. got decent rails, good reviews, i say go for it.

now of course the Xion 800 watt has better rails and is only 10$ more. and it looks cooler with the blue LED lights. and it has free shipping :).

Thanks guys. You really keep this forum a pleasure to use! But I have decided to not build another computer for a few more years and I am buying a Xbox 360.

:O :O :O :O

GET THE PS3 SRYSLY
Its so much better and will surely surpass PS3 now that developers are used to the new coding
It has the Cell processor and better hardware in general and a built in BluRay player. Ive used both and though i agree XBox is good (trying to be unbiased) the PS3 is more superior. Plus u get awesome exclusives like MGS4, Resistance and Little Big Planet (which i just started playing 2 days ago and its AMAZING)

@ Barny, the reason those like the Kingwin and Xion are cheaper is because they dont use good parts....I personally would never use them. Amps and watts arent everything.....Build Quality is. The Xigmatek uses CWT OEM which is the same as the Thermaltake (above 750) and the Corsair TX and HX. They save some money by replacing some parts with cheaper ones....does that make them bad. No, but not as good as the respective Corsairs and Thermaltakes

Check out jonnyguru.com or Hard OCP for reviews. They give very good reviews of PSUs. Analyzing quality (parts) ripple, regulation the works. Plus u can learn a thing or two.

The good OEMs, the bad etc. and the good parts. CWT generally are good builds (Corsair TX/HX 1000 only and TT above 750). Xigmatek is the same but use lesser quality capacitors vs. the other CWTs. Delta for Antec atm seems to be very good.
The Antec Signature series has the best stuff seen thus far and has the best regulation. Thats y its price tag is so high for a 650/850 watt psu
For Capacitors Nippon Chemicon, Rubycon and such are all good. Oklahoma Wolf discusses it all in his reviews...
