I have a asus p6t se motherboard, 6gb corsair 1600mhz, 750 watt power supply, I7 930 cpu. Also a V8 Cooler.
Currrent settings using turbo v are ...

BCLK freq to 134
CPU voltage to 1.22
DRAM Bus voltage to 1.50
QPI/DRAM Core Voltage to 1.20

I am trying to get it close to 4.0ghz with what I got. Is it doable.. What setting should I be set at...Thanks.. I am new at this and trying to figure this stuff out..

There is a lot of material out there on overclocking the i7 family. There are two main approaches - work your way up slowly or start high and work your way back down.
you basically start by increasing BCLK - but then you have to change the various multipliers or the other components will not work.
