no need for land line.....dropped service but continued with internet......home computer works....my wireless does not...using linksys with 2.4ghz broadband......

you would have to set your AT&T provided modem on bridge mode [open I.E. go to 192.168.1.254>>>advanced>>>select bridge (instead of pppoe, a few more buttons to click depending on the modem you have) then set up your linksys to PPPOE (type your uid and pw on linksys page)]. Visit their helpsite and type: bridge modem on "ask a question" field. HTH
