I have an HP laptop and an HP desktop modem.. and no screen to go with

I can turn the desktop modem on.. but the screen is dead. Is there anyway that I can get into the desktop and use it through my laptop.. ?

I have a laptop, and desktop modem..... how do i do this.. is it possible?

you do not know the screen is dead - or is the power light off? when you mean dead you mean no picture
but it could be anything

you can remove the hard drive and put it into a hard drive holder and plug it the wall and then plug it in the lap top then turn it on

it will show as another drive
