Hi i just re-check the temps on my HD4850 and i'm getting really different readings than when i first bought it. Before my Core temp was about 46 Memio 50 and shadercore 52. Now my Temps are 46-76-67!! This is with stock hsf and ramsinks. what could have happened? why might my shadercore and memio temps jumped so much?
I tried it with watercooling but ended up taking it off as my temps were 59-59-59 (no better than stock hsf) do you think it's time to put the watercooling kit back on?

When the temps start running around 90~95 under load, that is the time to start worring about temps. As is, your card is running quite cool.

Yes, but this is at 500core with no load. These temps are normal?

ah crap, did i just kill my card? Took it out and put the cooling block on. now temps are 62-62-62. but the bios boot screen has red dots coming all the way down and won't boot using my primary output i have to use the secondary! I'll just run 3d mark and see what that does it it.

nope, loads of corruption, just on the loading screen. oh no, I've only had the card a month and i've already killed it :(

Just put the stock hsf back on and now it won't boot. Crap, i've killed 2 graphics cards this year now. just hope i can RMA it. I'll try again tomorrow but i think it's dead. it might have something to do with me having 150v going through my case. whenever i touch it i get a big ass shock.
