I set out to build myself a fairly future proof rig. I wanted to build something that I won't have to change for several years but would have the option if I get into more serious gaming.

I went AMD for the price and I'm not going for any OC records here. Just a light gamer and everyday uses machine.

I'm thinking I'll end up trying to set it up at 3.0-3.2GHz Just to say I did. For what I'll be doing I don't think all the cores are going to be used, so the extra Hz on there should up fps a little for S&Gs.
