So you're building a PC and just using the apple monitor?

The best GPU is certainly the 4850. A 9800GT is just a rehash of last years 8800. A 3850 is the older 4850.

THe 4850 is your best bet. AT LEAST 550W power supply.

For a 20" monitor, I would go for a 4870 with 1 gig of memory, or even if money is not a concern, a 4870X2.
Definetly though, at least the 4850.
You will need a much better PSU no matter what you do.
Check reviews and buy a good one. A few extra spent here is worth a ton later down the road.
