I am trying to use an AGP card in a computer based upon an old HP P4SD-LA motherboard. I have two cards and both cause the system to crash once the windows logo appears, in both regular and safe mode.

It was recommended that I install the agp drivers for the motherboard. I have the chipset drivers from the hp site, but the install.exe just dumps them into a folder and says to use device manager to install the drivers. I don't see where in device manager to install the drivers, nothing with an exclamation mark. How can I get them installed?

Thanks.

Update:
The hp support person directed me to this page:
http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-009241.htm

I downloaded the chipset installer but it only installed something for the ultra ata, nothing for the agp, Any help would be much appreciated.
