Crackle sound in sound card

Hello,
Im facing a problem while recording voice...
along with the voice there is a crackle sound which also get recorded...
Actually that sound comes from the TRIM knob of MIC/Guitar on my sound card...
when i rotate it gets louder... hey friend please help me out...

Sounds like there's a loose wire behind the knob.
