Is it true Windows 7 users no longer need a floppy or boot cd driver disc when installing a RAID? I read windows 7 now contains most drivers for most on and off board raid controllers. So what would the raid process be for 7? Bios, Raid utility, then fresh windows install?

That's the process. The proof is in the pudding - if you boot the Windows DVD and it sees the configured RAID drives, then you're in business. Otherwise, you'll have to load drivers.
Yup RAID is almost a simple plug and play now. Went smooth.
