What can I do to start-up my PC in a very quicker way? It takes about 8 minutes to start-up.

Please help.

Thanks.

#1: Add more memory, as much as will fit or that you can afford.
#2: Don't allow a bunch of programs to "load when Windows Starts"
These things will make you feel like crushing your machine under a dump truck.
Look in the system tray, down by the clock. Right-click on running programs, go to their options or properties and un-select the ability to start with Windows. Leave the clock alone, leave the sound mixer alone, leave network connections alone, just stop programs from starting with Windows.

#3: Show everything that is running in the tray.
Microsoft supports hardware vendors so they added an evil "feature" to hide whats running in the tray so you'll get fed up and go buy a new machine. Click Start>Settings>Control Panel>Taskbar and Start Menu
Uncheck "Group similar taskbar buttons"
Uncheck "Hide inactive icons"

Do #2 again.

There is more that can be done but these will be the biggest things you can do.

Start-Run then type MSCONFIG, go to Services and Hide Microsoft Services, the remaining are services you may or may not need depending on what applications you installed and are using. You can uncheck all that are useless to you.
From there you can click the Startup tab and uncheck everything you don't need to run on startup. (some apps. will not allow you to modify this from their own control setting, might be a good idea to uninstall some, like browser bars for example.)
Like they Tigsounds said, avoid the system drivers, like video, sound and network and any other hardware you have installed.
