Atm I have Nvidia Geforce 7900 GTX and right now I want to upgrade to a better graphic card. What is the best graphic card I can get right now that would fit into this mobo? Because all the new graphic cards said PCI-Express 2.0 x16 and I really have no idea what fit in this mobo anymore. I built this computer 3 years ago and havent been up to date with the latest tech. anyone have an idea?

wel it depends on ur mobo. i beleave ur mobo already has a PCIe x16 slot ya?? it wud b better if u cud note ur pc specs...then we cn get d exact picture abt ur mobo...but for nw i can say (for u 2 get an idea) all PCIe 2.0 GPU's (Graphic cards) are fully backward compatible with the normal PCIe 1.0, 1.0a.
But by plugin a PCIe 2.0 card to a PCIe 1.0 or a 1.0a wud have drawbacks on the overall FPS in 3D apps. Then again...thr wont b that much of a difference.
All in all...yep u cn put a new PCIe 2.0 card to an old PCIe 1.0 slot. but bware of the FPS.
as i said, put ur PC specs o ur mobo type, so we cn give a more precise answer to ur question...
