Switching Mobo do I need to reinstall WinXP?

I've read in the FAQ that the OS might get a bit funky, and that I do a repair/install of the mobo drivers. In your guys' experience how troublesome is it to just switch motherboards?

Will installing the appropriate drivers make the OS not weird? Is it better to start fresh?

I hope I'm making sense, and would appreciate any response.

you could always just uninstall the drivers, but it is HIGHLY recommended to start fresh. Wipe/format/delete partition (whatever) it and start fresh. You're just opening yourself up to problems.. I normally do that a couple times a year myself..

Ok, I was hoping I didn't have to do that, because I just barely had to reinstall windows. Oh well, good thing I have 2 hard drives.
