My apologies if this was already discussed before (can't find a search feature), but I purchased an EVGA 9800 GX2 graphics card a few months ago, and love it. I also thought it was great how it seemed to beat out the 250? (latest) nvidia cards in sub 32" monitor resolutions (I'm 22" ).
I was going to suggest one for a friend, but I've noticed that they are no longer selling on newegg, and the EVGA site does not include any information on them. Does anyone know if they phased these cards out already? It would be a shame. I thought they were a great buy, even if the memory was limited and it used a lot of power.
Its simple: the GX2 is as good as the 280, but over 50% cheaper. That, and as a dual card, its harder to work with, and probably more expensive to make.
