I am new here so please bear with me as I am not sure if this is going in the right section of this forum.

I have an ECS KN2 SLI2 motherboard and would like to know if the new Phenom II processors are compatible with this board. Or better yet, is anyone running this chip on this board. I would hate to have to get a new board.

Thanks for any assistance that you guys are able to offer.

If you look up your board on the ECS web site there should be a link to a "CPU support list" or similar over on the left side of the page. That will list the CPU models supported by your MB.

Thanks for the help mondoman. I found it. ECS website is pretty bad and I just got frustrated dealing with it trying to find the information that I was looking for.

Well, looks like I will be upgrading mobo and processor.
