Rivatuner fan speed control not working

Hey guys, I just installed Rivatuner and is having problem with the fan option. Whenever I try to slide the fan speed and click apply, the slider will revert back to the 35% standard speed (For me). I'm using WIndows 7 and 9600GT card.

And yeah, to add on I do not have the graphic card icon under "target adaptor"

Any kind soul can assists?

You may want to try a different Driver. When I tried a couple of the 180.xxx Drivers there was no fan control, as in grayed out in Riva and with the Evga Precision Tool.

PS: Do not!!! use 196.75 there have been horror stories Posted around the InterWeb of cards being brought to a slow demise !!!!
