Boot manger issues

Hey guys
I have a Sony vaio laptop with a clean blank HD.
I am trying to reinstall windows on it but the install disk i had was messed up.
No all i get is BOOT mgr is missing. Please help me.
I have tried many things even a windows repair disk from another PC.
