Corsair HX520W PSU compatible with ASUS P5QL mobo?

Quick question,

Is a Corsair HX520W PSU compatible with my ASUS P5QL motherboard?

Bought a second hand HX520W off ebay, connected it all up, get green light on motherboard, but FANS on PSU do not spin, pc does not power up.

Not even sure what PSU i have at the mo, came from DinoPC.com. But connected that back up and works fine, so havent damaged anything.


Someone sold me a dead PSU do you think?
