CD/DVD ROM crisis

Hello,Hello, On my cd/dvd rom, music is being written, the sessions are not closing out, the music is not readable (on other player devices) and finally, its writing in a format to which it can only be read on the computer. When I go back to check the drive, specifically, while the cd is still in, it shows 0bytes; yet, the music is on the cd, just not being read accordingly. My drive is only reading DVD-RW not
CD-ROM. I've been researching this for than 24hrs straight. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASEEE?

we may need liitle more info..
what software you used to burn the music files to disc..
is it audio cd or just added mp3 files as data cd/dvd...
total size of music file you have selected to write on disc...
