VT8237 wont detect WD5000AAKS

Hi, everybody

If anybody had a similar problem please tell me a solution.
I have a new hard disk WD5000AAKS 500GB SATA and my BIOS wont detect them (K8MM chipset VT8237 SATA controller). I tried aoyher HD (Seagate Barracuda 40 GB) and that works fine. Is there an incompatibility problem with SATA controller or jumper settings required?

Can you try out the hard drive on another computer?

The drive could just be defective.

By them, do you mean you have more than one?

Yes, I put the jumper on 5-6 pins and it's started to work. Thanks for the solution.
