Hoping for help on this.

I just purchased a Power color HD4830. I have a Asus P5k-VM and hoping to add this card to a Micro ATX mid tower.

I need to upgrade my PSU since it wont power up (no name 300w supply).

I have heard good things about Seasonic SS-350SFE but wondering if its been field testing with this (its a whole 100W below the suggested Wattage).

My main limitation is I can't find SFF or mATX PSU with high enough power.

My only other alternative is to find a larger case with I'd prefer not too.

thanks!

Its showing 18 amps on the 12 volt rails, which is enough, but what cpu, and how many HDDs, DVD drives etc? For a total power amount for your system?

You'd better monitor the temps with that setup. If the video card overheats it won't work.

I set up the psu works fine without the hd4830, however when i plug in the molex 6pin (two 4 pins going back to psu with adapter) the system won't even start up. Is there a compatiablity issue with the asus p5k-vm motherboard?
