Connecting dvd drive using usb
Apr 13, 2010, 8:45 AM
Hi, just wondering if I could connect a internal desktop dvd drive (SATA) to a laptop using usb, like a SATA to usb converter and then use that as a dvd drive.
PS:This is my first post+I'm only 12 and I've never worked with a desktop in my life only laptops.

Yes you can -- though an external drive case might be a more robust solution.
