Poor Temps With CoolIT Domino ALC

I have an Antec 900 case with a Domino ALC liquid cooler. The coolant is around 35*C and my room is around 26*C. My Phenom II x4 955 is running at 3.815 at 1.4625v on an Asrock 780GXH mobo. Idle temps for the CPU are around 44C (Cool and Quiet disabled) and load temps can get up to 54*C.

My questions are:

Do you think my cooler is performing well, and if not, what steps should I take to improve my cooling performance (replace unit, recommend upgrade, reseat, etc.)?

Do you think my 26*C room temp is affecting my cooling performance significantly, and if so, what can I do about that?

Thank you.

26C room temperature is high. Average is around 20C and that will contribute to higher temps.

But you shouldn't worry about the performance of the ALC since it isn't really suppose to compare with real water cooling loops. Think of it more of a high end air cooler. 54C isn't even that hot.

54c is ok at those clocks, the coolit domino is beaten by better air coolers so you are doing well!
