Hi, firstly this is my first post on this forum. So, hello everyone.
Secondly, last year I purchased a very nice GA-P35T-DS3P. I've been fairly happy with it up to now.
I have just used the Easy Tune 5 pro app, for the first time, because I added another fan and wanted to check the speed. I am not sure if it is me reading it wrong or a default setting or what?
Anyway, the easy tune 5 pro is telling me that my memory is running at 800mhz as it should but my FSB is running at 200mhz! I have an E4700 which should run at 800mhz along with the memory. However it is running kind of hot at 54˚C.
Does anyone know why it is running at 200mhz?
Or is there a multiplier I'm not taking into account?
Should I tweak it in easy tune 5 pro or is it where it should be?
Has my PC been running at a quarter speed this whole time?
I don't want to change any settings until I have confirmation of my worries.
I'm almost positive that it's giving you the base FSB clock which is 200. The FSB is quad pumped so 200 x 4 = 800. I haven't bothered to ever install that pig crap, but if you want I'll install it to confirm for you.
Your temps, assuming they are idle temps, are way too hot. I suggest you recheck the heatsink for improper locking of the mounting pins. I know, your certain it's installed properly, but if you double, triple and quadruple check it you will find it is not.

Yes, thanks for that. My HSF was slightly incorrectly installed. one of the stupid plastic things popped out. However that isn't why my temps are so high. I'm running Seti at home at full CPU time. Snoozing it brings them right down. Have changed preferences so now temps are cool again. I decided to get a new HSF anyway so getting a v72 and some arctic silver 5 from fleabay.
Ok, so my FSB is where it should be. Great.
