Hello there,

I am now in the part where I am getting an SSD to set as my boot drive to boost performance. I live in Brunei, and the currency rate for USD to BND is 1 BND = 1.4 USD. The two options I have are the Transcend 64 GB SSD which is BND$ 290 or USD$ 209 and the Intel X-25 80 GB SSD which is BND$440 or USD$ 315.

I want the most performance/money so any suggestions are appreciated.

If you have the cash to spend, go with the Intel drive. Check out the "charts" link above, go to hard drives, and you'll see that the Intel SSD's are by far and away the best SSD's on the market.

Thanks for your very fast reply, I just closed the tab then I got a notification. Is the Intel SSD by far the most value for money?

Depending on the benchmark used, you'll definitely get the most performance per dollar out of the X-25.

Ok then. I'll stick to the Intel X-25!
