my agp card is going out on me and it's time to pick up a new one. i'm going to eventually rebuild my system and don't want to waste much money on a apg because i won't use it for too long. i don't play games. I just want it to run vista well and movies, etc. any suggestions?

Just keep in mind that agp cards under 50$ will be older chipsets so be careful about Vista compatibility.

Pretty much anything newer than an X600 will do, I think.

That 2400pro should be fine for your needs.
