External hard disk wouldnt work

I have a Maxtor One Touch 4 Mini external hard-drive which is not showing up on my Computer. Have tried all the Options with Disk management and also putting it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Nothing wouldnt.
It accidently happen to fall from the sofa da other day. The power supply still lights up as soon as I connect the USB to the laptop. It also does make a continuous sound like a soft buzzin noise.
Would really appreciate if I could get help on the same issue as soon as possible.
