Should I buy the GTX260?

Its 5th of Dec already and still no signs of any new product from Nvidia and that sux. Evga is shelling a GTX260 for $220 which is the best deal for me. Not looking for any ati products btw. So do you think i shud just get this now or wait a little more till the mid of dec to see if something happens. If ati brings out a new one that would force nvidia to either drop prices of existing cards or introduce a new one then and there (which is highly unlikely). Any thoughts?

Just go for the 260-216. There will be no cards released this month. Maybe in February 2009 imo.

Yeah a 260 is what i am gonna get for self xmas this year. That card should last me a good while and the cash is right for it anyway.

Ya, seems like you guys are right abt the feb release. So i think i will go ahead with the 260 and a 600w OCZ PSU to power this card. Here's the link for the psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341010

Any good? Are the amps on the rails good enough? This is my config:
Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz, 4GB DDR2 Ram, 1 dvdr and 1 sata2 hdd, 20" Asus LCD
And i wont overclock ever.
