If I connect a wireless keyboard to a laptop, will I still be able to use the keyboard on the laptop?

Yes, I have done this while helping people troubleshoot problems requiring them to enter passwords and other sensitive data. It is great not to keep changing seats or handing the keyboard back and forth.
