i'm glad you did some research and picked out some decent parts :)

i would drop your mobo and get these one of these instead.

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45

or

Asus P5Q Pro

for your GPU, definitely get the 4850. the 8800 GS will not hold a candle to the 4850 in gaming (im assuming you game from your name) ;)

and since you saved some money if you're gonna go with the mobo i suggested, you can put that money into some more ram :)

Mushkin 2x2 gb DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 54.99$

everything else looks great. good luck

here's another good P45 board as well

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128358

this one has 2x PCI-e slots, just in case you'll ever want to run dual GPU's, one's 16x and the other 8x. i would go with this one.

Well saving money is always a good thing and jsut saying i wont be doing hardcore gaming just basically games like ut3 counter strike source, cod 4, and farcry 2. So do i really need this graphics card or even this setup?

Go with the Asus or Gigabyte mobo. Nvidia chipsets aren't trash, but they're pretty close. If you are going with a single card setup, the 9800GTX/9800TX+ is in the same price range and performance bracket as the 4850. The Geforce cards also scale better in most Crysis benchmarks.
