i'm glad you did some research and picked out some decent parts :)

i would drop your mobo and get these one of these instead.

for your GPU, definitely get the 4850. the 8800 GS will not hold a candle to the 4850 in gaming (im assuming you game from your name) ;)

and since you saved some money if you're gonna go with the mobo i suggested, you can put that money into some more ram :)

Well saving money is always a good thing and jsut saying i wont be doing hardcore gaming just basically games like ut3 counter strike source, cod 4, and farcry 2. So do i really need this graphics card or even this setup?

Go with the Asus or Gigabyte mobo. Nvidia chipsets aren't trash, but they're pretty close. If you are going with a single card setup, the 9800GTX/9800TX+ is in the same price range and performance bracket as the 4850. The Geforce cards also scale better in most Crysis benchmarks.
