Alright, I've searched the epic ruins of the net in search for a straight-forward answer but I have yet to find it. So I'll ask here.
Sony Bravia 46" LCD HDTV is the monitor I'm using in combination with 2 8800GT's runnin in SLI, previously I had it working with the Nvidia v.172 drivers I believe. I would just have to plug the cable (DVI to HDMI) into the 2nd slot on the primary 8800gt to have it boot up to the TV properly.
Recently I updated drivers to the v.180 release, now we're back to square one which is --> I have to wait till windows boots up and THEN plug the HDTV cable into the DVI port. Otherwise, after the splash screen I lose signal and cry. I move this computer around alot and switch between a standard 19" lcd monitor and my HDTV, so I would LIKE to be able to move between them without having this 'plug HDTV in after windows boots problem'. It's more a convenience thing than a real problem, but none-the-less....getting up to plug the cable in every time I want to boot the PC up? Meh. No Thx.
Any help to eliminate this problem is much appreciated,
