hey guys....
i was wondering if someone could help me find a good LCD Monitor for my new PC, which is good and cheap....$150 is the budget......size doesnt matter much....as far as its 19"- 24" or so....i don't knw much about this LCD monitors as i have been using my 4 yrs old CRT monitor until now.....
Acer X193W+BW http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824009127 $179.99 (-$30) = $149.99 + free shipping Seems to be well liked, better resolution than others of it's size. Can somebody back me up on this?
so now the choice is b/w Hanns G HI and Proxi's ACER....
which one is better.....Hanns has built in speakers....none of them have TV Tuner.....i don't k what contrast ration means and which one is good....
which one do u guys think is better and WHY?
Don't rely on the Hanns speakers. I was just picking out one as close to the budget as I could. If you have the money the Acer 22" suggested by Proximon would be better.
ok..so proxi's choice is good
b/w i can stretch to $200 if i have to...thats is if quality/price ratio is higher.....
so if u have other choices, plz let me know
now ...does it really matter if it has HDMI or not?? i know its High Def. Multimedia Interface...but what exactly is it used for??? DO i HAVE TO HAVE IT in this fast growing tech world? what advantages will having HDMI provide me in future??
HDMI would only really be useful if you wanted to plug a ps3 or 360 into it. In terms of picture quality there will be no difference between dvi and hdmi when only using a pc as the picture source. If you just want to use this as a computer monitor, there is no need for hdmi. btw: The Acer Proximon recommended is hdcp compliant, meaning it will accept blu-ray content to be displayed on it over dvi.
