Sata to pata convertor

Hi,
i brought a new samsung sata DVD RW drive ,my MB is MSI 7061 with no sata port so i broght a sata to ide convertor but on insatling any thing after some time it stop means the installing log up to some 50% it stops why how can i correct it the convertor is from www.entermultimedia.com
how can i correct it please help me

you would have been better of buying a PCI SATA controller like this
