Ok so sorry if this seems like a noobish question but i just wanted to clarify something.
XP supports or see's about 4GB of memory and this includes the graphics ram ?
XP can only use 2GB on a single application/game ?

So if this is correct then a Graphics card with 1 GB of ram is using half the Ram available to the game ?
Where does this leave you with a 2GB card ?

The graphics ram doesn't count towards the game's allocation (but it does count towards the total 4GB quantity for the system). Therefore, the game will get 2GB of system memory.
