Hello guys ...
I am planing on new rig that includes these hardware:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400.
MotherBoard: ASUS Rampage Extreme.
RAM: DDR3 2GB OCZ Platinum Edition 1600Mhz.
Hard Drive: Western Digital 320GB 7200RPM, 16MB, SATA II.
GPU: Sapphire HD 4870.
Optical Storage: LG DVD±RW GH22NS x22 Black SATA.
PSU: Thermaltake ToughPower W0116 750W.
But I got confused ... and can't choose my Mid tower case ...
Which Mid tower case is the best for now?! TT Armor+ MX, Antec 900, NZXT Tempest, or other case ...?!
If you aren't looking for flashy LED's and the like, the Ultra Grid or E-Torque seem like good cases. They have nice cable management and a large side window. Unfortunately they do not include fans. They each have room for one 120mm intake and one 120mm exhaust. There is a CPU vent as well as a GPU vent. The price is only ~$50 so just buy a couple of good fans and you still end up at a great price.
I'm surprised there haven't been more posts and recommendations from forum veterans. The Antec 300, 900, and 1200; the CoolerMaster Cosmos and Stacker series; and a few of the Lan-Li, ThermalTake, and NZXT cases are the one that are usually recommended.
Antec has come out with a new version of the extremely popular Antec 900:
My favorite Mid Tower is my Antec P182. It is large for a mid tower though. If you want a case with lots of lights then look elsewhere. If you want a professional, solid, well designed case then the P182 is worth a look.
