hello everyone,
I am newbie to processor and all.I have hard disk of 250 GB, now if i click on any file in it, wat exactly happens inside.I know how processor access data from RAM, but how RAM access hard drive. Is there any limit to hard drive?

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the processor accesses the hard drive to put that data into the RAM. RAM stands for Random Access Memory and can be changed and manipulated. Once manipulated how it needs to be, what is stored in the RAM can then be pushed back onto the Hard drive. The RAM is pretty much an "18 wheeler truck" filled with information that goes back and forth between the HDD and the CPU. The more RAM you have, the more you can get from the HDD and manipulate before dumping back onto the HDD.
