Hey PPL
I live in South Africa, and i am in a bit of a prob.
I have a pc budget of around 333$, south african rands its about 3500Rand
I want a 450w PSU
Intel Core2 duo 2.53Ghz
Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 128bit 1GB
2 Crossair 512mb paired gaming memory ram at 675mhz
2 IDE HD's 60GB and a 250GB
1 SATA DVD all writer at 25X
All of this on a 40$ motherboard
Now what I wana know is, how will this pc perform, in terms of reliability, speed, power, graphics, and how will this pc run on Crysis, NFS Pro Street, And the last and best game of '08 NFS undercover, tell me how good it willl run on a 1280X1024 screen, and how fast it will run high graphic games.
And the score i will get on 3dmark 06

Decent psus cost well over R800(400w) in RSA and we have lower income too.
Get a 9500gt atleast if you want to game, and 2gb of RAM is a must, 4gb is preferable.
Don't know where you live, but i bought myself a huntkey 400w psu thats still going strong and cool at cafe viva (cape town area)

9400GT 128 bit 1Gig video card? Even the name is an oxymoron. 128bit/1gig?? I can't believe they make such a thing.
To utilize over 512 meg memory effectively, you need at the bare minimum a 256 bit buss width. A 128 bit buss is going to bottleneck even 512 meg of memory, and to put 1gig on a card this weak, and with a 128 bit buss is simply ridiculous.
