well a wireless access point can support 254 nodes in theory
and to connect all your intranet to a wireless access point will be kinda hard due to range factor
so you can use multiple wireless access points (routers ) the main thing is to patch all the wireless routers with a patch cord which will go to the uplink port on your router
u can also use some signal boosters .
boosters can enhance the range
