I built my last computer 4 years ago, and now that I want to get back into gaming I need a new system. (Call of Duty World at War) I'm out of the loop with alot of the new technology now and I really don't have the time to build a computer this time around and learn everything that I need to learn. My first PC in 1989 was a 386dx 16 with a 40 meg hard drive with a 640X480 vga monitor which everyone thought was the greatest thing ever compared to everyone who had a EGA monitor... lol So I've been around awhile but I'm actually thinking of doing the unthinkable... buying a prebuilt system.... Any suggestions? Or at the very least I can look at my options and maybe decide to build something afterall.....

Thanks,

There are no decent pre-builts until you get into the top tier.

You can do a build to order, but the parts choices are usually limited and the cost will run you about +40%.

Of course, you can get some very low end comps complete, at prices impossible to match building your own.. I saw an emachine with 19" monitor, OS, 2GB RAM, and a geForce 7050 MB for $500 in WalMart this morning.

Here are some options for you:
