Hi,

Could I get some help please? I am looking to upgrade my graphics card to a HD 4850 here from an 1800GTO. I assume thats a good value buy and is just in my price range (I want to play GTA 4!!!).

But because I haven't been paying attention to the tech world much for a long while, I really dont know if it will work properly in my system. I've got a DQ6 (rev 1 which I dont know if its PCIe 1, 1.1 or 2). I've also got a Seasonic 550W (I think, again, not 100% sure). Does this have the right connectors? I really dont know. So anyone, please, who keeps up to date with this stuff, can you tell me if this card will work?

Many thanks :)

It should work fine, from what I've read most PCIE 2.0 slots are backwards compatible with 1.0. The power supply should be adequate as well. And I do recommend a 4850 I just got one for my new build, it's great!
