So yeah this is the mid-range computer i have designed let me know how these parts sound together, and feel free to suggest different parts for particular things:
if you want to save some money, switch out the board to a p5q, hdd to WD 640gig and vidcard to hd4850.
The p5q-e is dual pciex and you won't use that for a midrange system. The rest is pretty much just a question of preferences.
It is actually $69.99 but if you use promo code EMCBBAEAE it will give you $5.00 off bringing the price down to $64.99
Order today, today is the last day that promo code is valid. That will help shave $10.00 off your bill.
Both hard drives have 32MB of cache so the performance will be equal.
(BTW..I have owned a 700Watt OCZ Game Stream for almost 2 years now. It has been a great power supply, and runs very quiet. It is especially attractive if you have a window on the side of your case.

Get the 640gb from western digital. It's like $10 more for an extra 140 gb. The Asus P5Q Pro is a good oc'ing mobo. 700W is overkill in your build. If you're sticking to one vga, a smaller psu is fine. This PSU will save you $20 and its only down 50W.

I realize the 700Watt PSU I have for my build is way overkill also however the week I bought it was actually $30 less than OCZ's 600Watt model, and I did not want to pay more money for less wattage.
Although I am sure my power bill has more than compensated for that by now.
I am hoping to X-Fire two 4850s pretty soon. That should finally justify the PSU I have had for so long.

Thanks for the advice guys, i just found another motherboard the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R and it's exactly like the UD3P except it has one less PCIe slot and it's like $15 cheaper. And i just picked out a OCZ modXstream PSU about the same price as the 700w but it's modular.
