So, obviously, there's no power button. I'm thinking i just have to connect the two pins on the mobo that are for the power switch momentarily and it should turn on.. will this work you think?

thanks for the help!

Yes, that is all you need to do. A small screwdriver works perfectly. Just be careful and only touch the 2 pins you are supposed to touch!

If your looking for a permanent solution to auto turn on the motherboard/power supply, a u330 capacitor in a 1 x 2 mta connector works wonders....

another way to do it is to cannibalise an old case and carefully remove the power button so you can use it for these circumstances.

Or you could just purchase another switch at any local hardware store. The case should still fully function without the power button.

wire wrap the 2 pin for the power switch on the mobo w/ a small awg(26-30)wire.
turn on/off-tap the wires together. Same thing for the reset switch

you can turn it with a screwdriver, you just need to check the correct pins in the mainboard manual. I'm 100% this works.
