Will a PC Power & Cooling Silencer PPCS750QBL 750W ATX12V wires be long enough to reach the motherboard for a coolmaster cosmos 1000 case? My motherboard would be a X38 model.

Probably. They're long enough for some huge cases like the Silverstone TJ09 or TJ07. I use one with a TJ09 myself.

Which version of the CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 do you have?

Here's one:
COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000 RC-1000-KSN1-GP Black/ Silver Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail

Pros: What a great case! It's huge, it's shiny, and it's QUIET! I build high-end audio workstations and decided to give this case a try. Not disappointed in the least. The front panel connectors located on the top are super-convenient. Simple build; very logically put together. Came with an eight pin (2x4) cpu power extension to reach the top of the board. Gorgeous. I love this case!

Cons: It's gonna cost an arm & a leg to ship a fully loaded system in this thing.

Other Thoughts: This case is enormous. That's a con for some, but a definite pro for me. The acoustic baffling that this case is lined with will cause the temperature to be higher than normal, but the size of the interior helps with dissipation. If it were any smaller, overheating would probably be an issue, but so far, no problems. Q9550 runs around 37degC with an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro & 750 watt Silencer.

No guarantee that he's got the same flavor of case and Silencer 750W you have, and it may depend on the MB too, but it's very promising :)

Thanks, after some research I think it will fit. On another note, what are your opinions regarding the power supply. Is it good, and, if so, are their other cheaper options that are just as good?

If that sale is still going on the PC P&C you can't beat it.

It's enough to power two mid-range video cards. Without knowing your needs it's hard to say what you should get.
