Auto Configure not working on my unmanaged switch

I've set up a network of a few pcs on an unmanaged switch and only one of the PCs can ever obtain an IP address not sure why, but this poses problems as I cannot connect to the internet on any of the other computers. any ideas?

How are you connecting to the Internet? Cable? DSL? You normally need a router to share a home Internet connection and not a switch.

You need a router.

Config would go: Modem -> Router -> Switch.

Most home based routers have a 4 or 5 port switch built into them already.
