I have an XFX GeForce 8200 board. I was flashing the 1st BIOS from 1.3 to 1.4. I use the windows winflash utility. After successfully flashing the BIOS I rebooted. The system wouldn't post. I cleared the CMOS and the system still wouldn't post. I swapped the 1st BIOS and the 2nd BIOS (v1.1). It works fine. I want to repair the 1st BIOS so I can try and re-flash it to 1.4. Any ideas on how I can do this?
I was told that after the system boots up, I can swap the two chips and then re-flash. Any words of caution before I do something like this?
