Hi folks,
I already installed Win XP in HDD IDE mode and wanted to installed Win 7 Pro in AHCI mode (because I will install the second OS in SSD) in dual boot environment.
Since they share the same motherboard, I assume I have to change mobo BIOS to AHCI mode for XP installation in HDD first before I start installing second OS in native Win 7 AHCI driver for SSD.
Any workaround on this? (Instead of reinstall XP)
My mobo spec:
ASUS P5Q - Intel chipset P45
HDD XP installation - Hitachi Deskstar 1 TB
SSD for WIn 7 Pro - SSD Vertex 60GB
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks.
