I'm configuring a new build and I'm looking for a fairly cheap motherboard that would fit these components. This is what I have so far:

CPU - C2D E7200 - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115052 - 143.49

GFX - RADEON HD4670 - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121274 - 95.99

RAM - G.SKill 4GB PC2 6400 - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122 - 54.05

HD - WD Caviar 500GB SATA - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073&Tpk=wd5000aaks - 77.99

If you guys have any recommendations/suggestions on my current parts list, feel free to make them. I'm not looking to build a powerful machine, this is more of a budget machine if anything.

BTW - What brands should I look at for power supplies? And would be a good wattage to power the system that I have listed above?

The PSU of 500 can power your rig fine with alot of overhead room left. Even a 420 can run that fine. I would suggest Corsair PSU - they are rock solid. I'm powering 4850 crossfire on a OC quad with a 550 Corsair.

The board is based on preference actually. Try searching for a P45 chip based on Gigabyte or Asus - you cant go wrong with them. You rig is fine... might want to check the 4850 with rebate, based on price/performance they are a good bang for the buck.

i have a few suggestions for different budget parts, though motherboard i dont have much of a suggestion.

first: the gpu.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127381

this is better than the 4670, and its the same price after rebate

second: the hdd

you can find a 640 gb drive on newegg for 75 bucks, so more bang for your buck

third: the power supply

the cpu you have down has a few combo deals for powersupplies, you might wanna check them out.
