^Exactly. Those ccan be found for less than $70 in some places. BUT, make sure that the 9600 GSO is 192 bit with 384 MB of Memory!!! the cheaper version (128 bit) is crippled and not worth your money.
No offense but buying cards based on memory size (like your 9500GT 1GB) is pointless, 9500GT would be perfectly fine with 256MB... just increasing the memory size doesn't make it go any faster, it's only marketing trick to fool people buying them.
You'll only need 1GB of vram at 1900*1200 res and upwards (24''), 512MB is fine at 1680*1050 (22'') and below. 256MB maybe around 1024*768 and 1280*1024. And to game at those really high rez requires some serious muscle from the core itself and memory bandwidht to actually move the stuff to and from the memory...
I find cooling fans on graphic cards a lot more efficient than heat sinks alone. I don't do much gaming but I've had a lot of bad luck with heatsink only cards. Graphic cards with fans tend not to make much noise and last a very long time, years! I do tend to stick with Nvidia cards and not ATI Radeons etc. I do a lot of video and picture/photo editing, a lot of animation and screen saver work. Stick with the one gig fan onboard card mate.
Also, if you cant find the 4670, buy the 4650, huge improvement from the 9500gt, works great on my 19 inch 1400 900 monitor. Anyways what games are you planning to play? It will even play crysis on high at 37 fps, but not at that res, 1024 by 768 i think, still good though. Of course 4670 is better, but im just listing you out some more options.
