OK I'm looking to buy a new Video Card this Christmas and I was looking on NewEgg and I found these two cards and I was really confused and need help trying to pick one out that would give me good performance.

OK these are the two cards

Geforce 8800 GTS The thing that confused me with this one is the price. Its 100 dollors!?!?!!?

The Other one is Geforce 9800 GT

I now that The 9800 gt and the 8800 GT is a crippled 8800 GTS but I thought something was wrong with the 8800 GTS that I'm looking at because of the price. So I just wanted to make sure that I'm getting a card that can deliver.

I'm currently upgrading from an old Geforce XFX 6800 GS/XT with on of these cards

Thank you for any input,

Get the 9800GT. It's newer one and OCs well. Also don't confuse the G92 based 8800GTS with the older 8800GTS.

if that 8800GTS is 312mb or 6**mb and not the 512..... don't go with it, it is bad, if it is 512 go with the gts (i almost bought the 512mb 8800gts but got a 4850 instead)

***Edit.... the link finally worked for me....that GTS is bad, my friend had it and it wasn't that good at all, go with the gt

8800GTS 512mb (G92) > 8800GT/9800GT 512mb > 8800GTS 640mb (G80) > 8800GTS 320mb (G80)
